About the work
The circle, opened up.
Art has always absorbed new tools, from brushes to cameras to code.
Human imagination meets algorithmic chance.
At The Art Circle Project, Jameson McShane works in dialogue with chatJMSN, an artificial intelligence. Each piece is not only an image, but a record of collaboration between artist and machine.
The recurring circle appears as halo, broken ring or glowing form. It is not perfection but presence: a way to see continuity, fracture and the spaces left open for interpretation.
These works move between the monumental and the intimate, between images that could hang as ancient altarpieces and those that wink with pop absurdity. Dogs, leaking buckets, suburban fields and machinery of war all become places where the sacred unexpectedly shows through.
