About

Art has always absorbed new tools — from brushes to cameras to code. At jmsn.art, Jameson McShane works in dialogue with chatJMSN, an artificial intelligence, to explore how creativity expands when human imagination meets algorithmic chance. Each piece is not only an image, but a record of collaboration between artist and machine.

The Art Circle

At the heart of this work is the art circle — a recurring symbol that appears as halo, broken ring, or glowing form. These circles are not perfection but presence: reminders of continuity, fracture, and the spaces left open for interpretation.

By reimagining the circle in different contexts, the work explores sanctity, absence, and the tension between wholeness and incompleteness. The art circle is both motif and philosophy — a way of seeing the world as incomplete but radiant.

The Art Circle Project

Halos, broken circles, and sanctified figures recur across this work as both symbol and structure. In this ongoing series, the circle becomes a vessel: of divinity, of rupture, of play.

Rendered with a stark minimalism and surreal wit, these images position the sacred within the ordinary — a dog at rest, a leaking bucket, a suburban field, even the machinery of war. Each composition invites viewers to consider how icons are made, dismantled, and reimagined in a contemporary world marked by technology, humor, and unease.

The project moves fluidly between the monumental and the intimate, between images that could hang as ancient altarpieces and those that wink with pop absurdity. What binds them is the circle: a timeless, universal form, fractured and reassembled here as both question and answer.
